Privacy Policy — Dino Friend

Last updated: 11 August 2026

The short version. Whatever you write to your dino stays on your phone. There are no accounts and no sign-up, and we have no server to send anything to. The app does show ads, and the ad provider collects some information — that part is described below.

What you write

Messages you write to your dino are held in your device's local storage while the app needs them and are not transmitted anywhere. We never receive them, cannot read them, and have no way to recover them. Deleting the app deletes them.

What the app stores on your device

All of this lives only on your device. None of it is sent to us.

Advertising

Dino Friend shows optional rewarded video ads, supplied by Google AdMob. You only see one if you choose to watch it in exchange for drumsticks — no ad is ever shown otherwise.

To serve those ads, Google collects information including your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device information. This is handled by Google, not by us, and is covered by Google's privacy policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings under Privacy → Ads.

Purchases

Drumstick packs are sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google — we never see your card details, billing address, or name. Google tells the app only whether a purchase completed.

Children

Dino Friend is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Analytics

The app contains no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no crash reporting. We collect nothing about how you use it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
